Glen Haven Village Adult Day is a welcoming day center where dedicated staff are committed to the mission of Engaging, Enriching and Supporting the lives and continued independence of local seniors and their caregivers.
Engage
Participants will spend their days in an environment that promotes social connections with others and the world around them.
Enrich
Each day participants have the opportunity to partake in a variety of meaningful activities that promote wellness and bring joy.
Support
Participants and their caregivers are the focus of our program, designed to identify each individual's unique needs and connect them with resources needed.
Services Provided
● Full day availability– days of week scheduled based on need
● Nutritious meals (lite breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack)
● Medication Assistance
● Personal Cares Assistance as needed (toileting, walking, etc.)
● Daily Activity Programing consisting of a variety of activities such as:
○ Cognitively stimulating activities: bingo, dominoes, chess/checkers, cards, puzzles, word games, etc.
○ Socialization Opportunities (happy hour, coffee club, etc.
○ Fitness Activities (balloon volleyball, chair yoga, stretching, workout classes
○ Wellness Room – physical and occupational therapy, individual workout equipment
○ Art Projects & Craft Activities
○ Pet Therapy
○ Nature walks around our beautiful campus
○ Musical Activities – karaoke, musical bingo, etc.
○ Gardening
○ Relaxation & Meditation
○ Holiday and birthday celebrations
○ Community Excursions

Who can benefit from Adult Day services
– Individuals who are looking to postpone the need for long term care.
– Individuals who need support throughout the day with Activities of Daily Living
– Individuals who need supervision or medication assistance
– Individuals whose families or caregivers could benefit from daytime respite services.
– Individuals with mental or physical disabilities, Alzheimer’s or Dementia
Enrollment Requirements
– Age 55+
– Completion of Adult Day Application and Clinical Assessment

Transportation & Followup Appointments
Glen Haven can provide daily transportation from home to the center on the Glen Haven Village Campus for $15/one way $25/round trip.
Transportation to appointments available for full time participants (attend 5 days/week).
